The Land Development Manager contributes to company growth by developing new neighborhoods and phases. Responsibilities include:

• Work with Land Team to coordinate strategic land planning
• Manage workflow with Trade Partners for all aspects of site development, including municipal approvals and entitlement, construction of utilities and infrastructure, HOA management, and project closeouts
• Coordinate bids and schedules from subcontractors and track project invoices against approved budgets
• Maintain current project files, applications, and correspondence for each relevant community
• Oversee stormwater management and NPDES permitting and approvals

This position can focus on either site development and construction work or on project planning, municipal approvals and entitlements, depending on the candidate’s experience and background. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to see how land development decisions align with company vision and strategy. Requirements include:

• 3-5 years’ experience in residential land development, civil engineering, municipal government or real estate acquisition and sales
• Construction experience/understanding a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, landscape architecture, business, construction management or related degree preferred
• Strong communication skills; able to build rapport with a variety of personalities
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and able to master new software
