    You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity as indicated by the following examples: ability to lead team of subordinates while overseeing and tracking multiple concurrent complex projects. Ability to work with other agencies, Tribal governments, stakeholders, private landowners, and the public to manage a program of conservation and management of land and resource programs.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    Physical Demands: Occasionally required to walk moderately long distances over rough terrain during normal fieldwork.
