Land Surveyors Supervisor supervises a staff who surveys and investigates land surfaces to project precise measurement and location of lines, angles, points, areas, and elevations. Ensures the staff performs project research, boundary calculations, and records accuracy of survey data, notes, and sketches. Being a Land Surveyors Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Land Surveyors Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. ```Duties``` - Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary - Provide general administrative and clerical support - Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently - Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events - Assist with project coordination and follow-up tasks - Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors - Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary - Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing - Handle sensitive information with confidentiality ```Qualifications``` - Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems - High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks - Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision - Experience in event planning is a plus - Familiarity with order entry systems is an advantage This position offers competitive pay and benefits.
