Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Key Responsibilities:
* System Management: Manage and continuously improve our quality and food safety systems, aligning with the latest edition of the SQF Code.
* Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, quality, and food safety standards.
* Product Release: Oversee the release of safe and high-quality products into the supply chain.
* Auditing and Inspection: Conduct routine audits of the facility to verify compliance with quality and food safety standards, and host certification, state, and federal auditors.
* Training and Development: Train employees on food safety and quality procedures, ensuring they are qualified to handle and process food.
* Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production, packaging, and quality control activities.
* Certification Maintenance: Manage and maintain relevant certifications, such as PCQI and HACCP.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
* Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including GFSI, SQFI, and FDA regulations.
* Proven experience in implementing and managing food safety and quality systems.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Access.
* Required Certifications: PCQI and HACCP.
