Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Being a Landscape Architect Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Typically reports to a top management. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Landscape Architect Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities within the maintenance division. You will participate in the conceptual development of maintenance projects and oversee their organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. You will also work closely with other divisions and report regularly to the company President and Vice President. We pride ourselves on our to customer satisfaction and high-quality service.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities within the maintenance division.
    • Participate in the conceptual development of maintenance projects and oversee their organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
    • Work closely with other divisions and report regularly to the company President and Vice President.
    • Maintain relationships with clients and customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the work being completed.
    • Supervise maintenance division workers, account managers, and other employees within the division.
    • Support in training of maintenance employees to ensure services are delivered in a manner consistent to company standards.
    • Oversee and review irrigated lines and fertilizer/chemical applications.
    • Ensure the proper maintenance of all assigned vehicles, equipment and tools in proper working condition and keep them clean and presentable.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of business and management principles, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
    • Knowledge of basic lawn care (Fertilization, Cutting/Mowing, Seeding, Sod Installation, Aeration, Disease Control).
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
    • Knowledge and execution of machines and tools.
