Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Purpose:
The Landscape Area Manager (AM) position is responsible for managing all field operations within the division including Crews and Equipment in order to optimize service efficiency within company defined quality standards
Responsibilities and Activities:
· Create Service plans-Motion Maps per property to optimize efficiency
· Manage landscape optimizations to improve efficiency
· Manage Service plan execution in the field with crews daily
· Schedule and Workload crews to optimize routing density work scope
· Organize and plan equipment packages per crew
· Ensure work performed meets company service quality standards
· Proactively communicate property issues, upcoming services, etc.to customers and Regional Managers
· Respond promptly to customer-generated issues and manage appropriate resolution
· Manage and direct daily dispatch
· Coordinate equipment repairs between shop and field
· Conducts weekly safety meetings with crews
· Ensures all work is completed in adherence to safety policies and guidelines
· Direct and assist Crew Supervisors daily
· Work with Regional managers to meet or exceed property GM budgets
· Investigates any accident or safety violation, prepares appropriate reports, takes action steps to correct and prevent future occurrences. Defines and implements solutions to reoccurring accidents or most common hazards
· Supervise employees, keeping attendance records, enforcing proper uniform and safety equipment use, and validating time for payroll

Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in Horticulture/Turf Management and/or 2-4 years of direct relevant experience
· 3-5 years related industry experience
· 3 years supervisory experience
· Experience in business management, including basic accounting skills
· Mechanical aptitude
· Knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, desired
· Current driver’s license
