Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Client Service: 40% of the Time
- Adhere to G&G’s Communication Promise
Responsible for ensuring that job site’s quality and appearance meet client and company standards
- Responsible for understanding client needs and ongoing communication with Account Managers.
- Manage all activities involving landscape maintenance services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment and subcontractors required to produce a quality job
- Consult with Account Managers prior to scheduled service in order to properly prepare specific action plan for service
- Perform hands on work with crews as needed to meet work and scheduling demands
Employee and Safety Management: 30% of the Time
- Understand new hire paperwork process and ensure accurate completion of all required items
- Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, develop, and review employees
- Provide hands on training and support of crew personnel in areas such as proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards
- Prepare crews’ daily schedules, providing direction and goals to be accomplished, and emphasizing quality and efficiency of operations
- Monitor safety record of crews and minimize accidents to personnel and equipment.
- Keep emergency contact information up to date and available
- Ensure crews are appropriately attired and groomed
Administrative & Financial: 20% of the Time
- Manage and maintain all administrative and record keeping systems required including payroll and weekly schedules
- Order materials needed for job and monitor costs and deliveries
- Request purchase order prior to purchasing and use in accordance with company guidelines
- Responsible for proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for company equipment
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures as issued by management
-Participate in end of month closing process.
- Other tasks and duties, as assigned
Other Duties: 10% of the Time
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness
- Perform minor equipment repairs such as pull cord replacement, spark plug replacement, belt repair, and tension adjustments

Qualification Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Complete knowledge of division functions, geographic responsibilities and customer assignments
· Ability to operate various lawn care machinery including mowers, edgers, back pack blowers
· Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to managers, employees, and clients
· Solid knowledge of plant and turf identification and care, including some disease and insect knowledge
· Ability to use standard units of measure
· Basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, area and square feet
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, of the English language
· Must possess a valid and current U.S. Driver’s License
· Supervisory skills
· Problem solving skills including reasoning and judgment
· Working knowledge of computer software (LMN and Microsoft Office), computer hardware and computer servers.
· Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on field experience with 1 years of prior supervisory experience preferred
- Two or four year degree in a landscape related degree, general degree with coursework in the landscape field or certification by a landscape association is preferred but not required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
