Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Landscape Foreman to lead our outdoor landscaping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, construction, and upkeep of various outdoor spaces, ensuring they are always looking their best. This role requires a strong background in landscaping and the ability to supervise a team to achieve high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage a team of landscapers and gardeners, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise landscaping projects, including lawn care, tree care, and garden maintenance.
- Develop and implement detailed plans for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
- Direct and participate in various landscaping activities, including pruning, mowing, and irrigating.
- Perform tasks such as building garden structures, installing irrigation systems, and planting flowers and trees.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
- Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure they meet the highest standards.
- Manage budgets and ensure all projects are completed within budget constraints.

Skills:

- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, including lawn care, tree care, and garden maintenance.
- Ability to supervise and lead a team.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with groundskeeping and irrigation systems.
- Experience with building and installing garden structures and irrigation systems.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and materials.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
