Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender sets-up and operates a conditioner machine that semi-dries and untangles flatwork. Prepares clothing articles for ironing. Being a Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender may require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Responsibilities:
- Sort and organize items for folding
- Fold and package items according to established standards
- Inspect folded items for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of folding techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with dry cleaning or hotel laundry processes is a plus
Skills:
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production goals
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload
