Job Title: Sawmill Cleanup Lead

Job Summary:

As the Sawmill Cleanup Lead, you will:

• Supervise and lead the cleanup crew to maintain facility cleanliness.
• Oversee the use of tools such as brooms, rakes, shovels, and other equipment for cleaning wood byproducts.
• Ensure the team works safely and adheres to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Train on all aspects of lockout/tagout procedures for equipment, including infeed/outfeed systems, machine centers, waste systems, and associated equipment.
• Report safety improvement opportunities to the supervisor for investigation and resolution.
• Strictly follow and enforce all established "Standard Operating Procedures" (SOPs) for the position.
• Operate mobile equipment as certified.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping by keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by management.
• Learn, follow, and demonstrate the company's core values to promote a positive work culture.
• Adhere to all guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook.
