Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Business Systems Analyst. The Business Systems Analyst is to plan, design, and participate in development and launch of efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements, and creating effective design specifications. This individual will apply proven project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, and vision; ensuring technical feasibility, document and communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications, so that issues and solutions are understood.
- Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications; maintaining detailed project plans to track progress.
- Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
- Provide orientation and training to those responsible for implementing all modified and new systems.
- Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
- Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications.
- Work with Quality Assurance to design test cases to verify proper functioning of designed projects, and to ensure proper testing and acceptance of developed applications.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
