Job Description:

The SP2NC Lead reports directly to the SP2NC Manager. Provides leadership to the warehouse associates as needed. Responsible for completing the work of a warehouse associates. The SP2NC Lead performs all functions including but not limited to receiving, stocking, picking, fulfilling customer orders, invoicing, & shipping orders. The SP2NC Lead demonstrates behavior that supports AWBC core values.

Roles and Responsibilities

Supervises SP2NC warehouse associates as they perform their duties.

• Fills store and customer orders for all customers.
• Responsible for removing product from shelves as requested.
• Add or remove labels from product as assigned.
• Accurately identify the correct items from their correct location.
• Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations and guidelines.
• Load and unload trucks
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior experience using radio-frequency scanner preferred.
• Previous forklift experience/certification preferred
• Ability to make on the spot decisions based on training and experience.

• Computer Skills – Internal and external email, along with Microsoft office, especially Excel, used daily.

• Ability to take direction and work unsupervised.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
• Read and write legibly. Including very small print.
• • Listen to information, and follow directions provided through an electronic headset.
  • Walk up to 8 miles a day. Walking short distances through the department/building.
  • Use hands/arms to operate required equipment and repetitive motion activities.
  • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
  • Bend, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.

  Must be able to work in variable work locations.
