Citi Wealth Operations Business Intelligence provides critical analytics to all lines of business and regions within Citi's Global Wealth Management organization. The team drives value for our partners and stakeholders by delivering proactive analytics on Operations performance and customer behavior in our servicing channels across various products, identifying transformational opportunities, and ensuring operations efficiently meets service commitments and supports business growth.

The Wealth Management Operations Lead Analyst applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to analyze and measure the effectiveness and efficiency for various wealth operations functions, in order to identify, quantify and drive productive and strategic changes, which will lead to increasing productivity and improved client experience. Requires excellent analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources and leverage various quantitative methodologies to derive business insights and recommendations. Advanced communication skills are also required.

Responsibilities:

•Translates business hypothesis/question/problem into analytics methodology and conducts data discovery independently.

•End-to-end execution of analytics projects from querying and processing structured/unstructured data to driving quantitative based business insights.

•Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

•Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information and presents through quantitative story telling.

•Proactively identifies new strategic opportunities upon metrics and other existing standard reports.

•Partners with internal/external teams and SMEs to assess and quantify use cases and influences stakeholders to gain alignment/approval on business proposals.

Qualifications:

•5 years relevant experience in quantitative / business analytics in financial service required, preferably analytics experience within Wealth Management

•Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint required

•Statistical programming experience with SQL/SAS/Python/R preferred

•Problem solving skills and ability to pioneer new areas of data analytics

•Strategic thinker with ability to adopt new domain knowledge quickly and translate into thoughtful analysis

•Ability to communicate sophisticated analytics insights succinctly to both technical and no technical audiences

•Strong organization skills and ability to develop network and gather context cross-functionally

•Bachelor’s degree in Business/Statistics/Data Science or equivalent fields
