About the role :

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Duty Coordinator for our Belmont Store to help contribute to our ongoing success.

As a Department Manager / Duty Coordinator, you will have the very meaningful job of leading the day-to-day store operations, ensuring your team builds memorable experiences and makes your customers' D.

I.Y. projects a reality. Your store will be your pride and joy you’ll use visual merchandising to your best advantage, aligning this to store marketing plans.

This can be either a Full-time or Part-time role.

What’s involved :

• Support the store leadership team
• Set an example of best service and encourage, empower and support the team to deliver friendly and helpful advice to customers
• Coach the team on the right service behaviours
• Assist with inducting and training the team
• Ensure that merchandising standards fit with business requirements
• Coordinate stock
• Available to work Saturday and Sunday

You’ll need :

• Experience supervising and leading customer-facing teams in a high safety and high compliance environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of a team
• An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team
• Be approachable and confident when interacting with customers
• Have an eagerness to learn about new products
• To be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours
