Doing so we are looking for a Senior Finance Project Manager / Lean Champion who has experience in managing larger scale business transformation projects with a strong background in leveraging lean methodologies.
Role and Responsibilities
The mission of the Senior Finance Project Manager / Lean Champion will be to drive operational excellence for US Finance by performing improvement projects, deploying lean and improving data quality. It includes regional stakeholder alignment with a focus on all ASML US locations by driving change needs and local requirements while maintaining alignment in our global ways of working.
This position will be part of the US Capability Center with a primary focus on ASML US lean development and projects. It will work closely with the team in Veldhoven as well as with the Service Delivery Teams throughout the US. This role will provide guidance to drive continuous improvements and coordinates larger scale business transformation projects. The Senior Finance Project Manager / Lean Champion will lead projects and solutions as well as manage the lean deployment within our US organization. This includes (co-)develop training material, facilitate workshops, coaching on improvements, coaching on supportive leadership, and being a business partner of local leadership.
You will be responsible for:
Project Management of Lean projects and corporate initiatives.
Developing project plans and completing implementation processes, including progress tracking, monitoring, change control, testing, and documentation.
Identifying, designing and implementing global E2E processes / process improvements in order to achieve defined process metric levels.
Being organized with prioritizing work to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
Performing effectively in a demanding environment with changing priorities and workloads.
Having a learning mindset to continuously learn and apply new information and skills.
Creating the Lean continuous improvement and supportive leadership mindset and culture in the organization.
Design and deliver a lean execution strategy across key horizontal finance processes and regions aligned with organization long term goals and objectives.
Develop Lean training material and deliver Lean training. Facilitate Lean workshops and support identification and elimination of process waste through application of Lean principles and methods like e.g. Standard work, Value Stream, Problem Solving.
Coaching on Lean methods, like Daily Performance Management, Problem Solving, Standard Work, 5S.
Collaborating with other operational excellence related parties in ASML, including Lean Competence Center, Business Performance Improvement, GES Project Management CoE (PIDS), Problem Solving Competence Center, Process Mining Competence Center, Continuous Monitoring.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager or support personnel.
Project Management certified (e.g. PMP) preferred
Lean Black Belt Certified required
Experience with managing a (project) team.
Experience with implementation of business transformation, integration and change projects.
Experience with SAP (ECC, S4HANA, BPC), Oracle (EBS), Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other emerging technologies.
Experience with running projects using waterfall and agile methodology.
Experience in applying lean methodology.
Experience with facilitation of Lean workshops (e.g. Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving)
Experience with coaching / mentoring White/Yellow/Green Belts for project support, methodology and tool usage.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate information to effectively communicate with all levels of the business.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite programs.
Fluent English speaking and writing.
Multi-disciplinary & multi-cultural understanding, values differences and is able to bridge between different departments and people across all levels.
Able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
Performing effectively in a demanding environment with changing priorities and workloads.
