Lean Manufacturing Manager leads and designs Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Manages all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement. Being a Lean Manufacturing Manager employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Manager also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Lean Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Lean Manufacturing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Assist in assembly and production line activities.
    • Perform quality checks on products and materials.
    • Load and unload trucks and containers.
    • Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
    • Prepare products for shipment and delivery.
    • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
    • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
    • Record and report production data and inventory counts.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings is a plus.
    • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
    • Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery (certification preferred).
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Basic math skills for inventory and measurements.
