Description

The Learning Coordinator's primary responsibility includes administering a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS), creating eLearning courses, managing certifications, and overseeing various training programs. Responsibilities include LMS administration, certification program management, sales and software training development. The ideal candidate possesses experience in learning program analysis, design, and implementation, strong knowledge of adult learning principles, and proficiency in MS Office, authoring tools, and LMS software. Flexibility, effective communication, and a positive attitude are crucial for success. 

• Administer the cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS), including developing eLearning courses, managing certifications, and overseeing various training programs.
• Maintain and update user access, permissions, groups, content, and usage reporting within the LMS.
• Oversee the certification program, ensuring staff maintains required certifications.
• Collaborate with the Safety and Fleet Managers to manage safety certifications and develop an internal program for certifying staff.
• Develop and implement training courses for administrative staff on Microsoft Suite, customer service, leadership development and software programs to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Identify and secure resources for ongoing learning and create and deliver reports on training requirements and completion to management.
• Manage training reimbursement processes for state or organizational programs.
• Assist with driving the desired "learning and safety culture" within the organization.
• Act as a liaison for the Tustin Apprenticeship Programs by administering invitations, tracking participant grades and communicating all announcements with participants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in instructional design methodology and e-learning solutions.
• Advanced aptitude in building content that connects with multiple learning styles in a dynamic, innovative environment.
• Learning management systems administration experience required. 
• Experience developing e-Learning content using Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, and/or other leading e-Learning development tools (Required).
• Knowledge of industry trends such as social learning, gamification, informal learning, knowledge retention and mobile strategies.
• Experience in leading complex projects with minimal oversight.
