Monday-Thursday 9am-5:30pm, Friday 9am-3pm

PAY

$19/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

Leasing consultants close lease deals with prospective residents and provide excellent customer service to current residents. This position also requires a lot of administrative duties such as answering phones or emails and receiving packages. Leasing consultants will report to the leasing supervisor or property manager. Candidates for this role must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES?

• Greet and assist all visitors to the property with a warm and professional demeanor. Ensure all prospective tenants receive a friendly, engaging, and personalized tour experience.

• Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and assisting to ensure a smooth move-in process.

• Serve as a go-to resource for current residents, promptly addressing and resolving any issues or inquiries they may have.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that all units and common areas are clean, safe, and fully functional.

• Stay informed about the current market and competitor properties to effectively sell potential residents on the benefits of our community.

• Organize and participate in community events and activities to foster a friendly, sociable, and supportive community atmosphere.

• Uphold the property’s policies and community standards with tact and diplomacy.

• Use a variety of software systems to track, update, and manage unit availability, leasing activity, and resident information.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work weekends as required

• Reliable transportation to/from work

• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle difficult situations or conflicts with diplomacy and tact

• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to use standard office software, systems, and equipment

• Bilingual a plus

• Experience with apartment software such as Yardi, OneSite, MRI or BlueMoon a plus

• Prior apartment leasing or hotel/hospitality experience a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
