Job Summary:

The Leasing Professional I reports to the Operations Director and supports the leasing operations and financial performance of the assigned office and region.

This position is fast pace and requires sales ability and the ability to multi-task.

Primary responsibilities include interacting with prospective residents, communicating via the "Leasing Angels" values and securing leases. Initiates the verification process to qualify prospective residents. Communicates lease expiration and facilitates lease renewals. Assists with property marketing activities.

General Responsibilities:

• Follow-up on leads in a timely, professional manner
• Consult with clients in order to discover their property desires; then find properties that meet those needs
• Act as an intermediary between your lessor and potential lessee
• Act as an intermediary between your leasing client and your assigned company director
• Educate your clients on key specifics of their home leasing experience
• Be the authority on all things related their leasing process
• Meet mandatory monthly sales/leasing goals
• Strong attention to detail
• Answer the phone, maintain organized and proper filing systems, etc.
• Greet clients in a positive and professional manner
• Oversee and ensure the accurate completion of application and lease paperwork
• Create marketing campaigns, as needed

Leasing Consultant Requirements:

• 5 Years Industry experience Preferred
• Property Management Software Knowledge, Specifically Yardi
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
• Have dependable transportation to and from work
• Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
• Ability to work weekends
• Maintain a friendly and customer service oriented approach to co-workers and customers
• HAS A PROVEN TRACK RECORD IN LEASING AND/OR SALES
