The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the driving force behind identifying hiring needs, candidate sourcing, navigating the recruitment process and conducting interviews with finesse while staying at the forefront of employment law.
Requirements of the Recruiter:
· 3 to 5 years in recruitment/talent acquisition.
· Proven experience in recruitment processes with a deep understanding of sales strategies to achieve and exceed recruiting goals.
· Excellent communication skills to engage candidates throughout the recruitment process.
· Relationship builder connecting with candidates, local schools, community leaders and other organizations to promote the company brand and community awareness.
· Working knowledge of employment law, legislation and compliance.
· Excel spreadsheet proficiency.
· Ability to commute to Lewiston office Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities of the Recruiter:
· Develop recruitment strategies by evaluating organizational development plans and confer with HR Manager to identify recruiting needs.
· Work directly with HR Manager to ensure accurate job descriptions are in place for each position and to determine job candidate profiles.
· Establish social media presence, working with marketing to promote company branding and community awareness.
· Utilize social media and other platforms to seek out talent.
· Attend relevant job fairs and other hiring events.
· Conduct phone screens for potential hires and coordinate interview schedules.
· Coordinate pre-employment process, conduct reference checks and new hire orientation.
· Establish and maintain relationships with organizations representing at-risk populations (i.e., immigrants, New Mainers, etc.).
· Pursue and prequalify subcontractor relationships.
