Legal Secretary
Job Description :
We are seeking a Legal Secretary to join our team and provide administrative and clerical support to our lawyers. The role involves a variety of tasks, including transcribing and proofreading legal documents, scheduling court depositions, hearings, and meetings, as well as filing and organizing important documents.
The ideal candidate will ensure the efficiency of all office procedures and case management, guaranteeing reliability and consistency in our legal operations.
Legal Secretary Requirements
- High school diploma
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage time-sensitive documents
- Exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Previous office administration experience is helpful
Location : Port Allen / Brusly, Louisiana
Office Hours :
- Monday - Thursday : 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm
- Fridays : 8 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm
Pay : $16 / hour, depending on experience
