Defense firm seeks a motivated multitasker to join its Legal Secretary team. The ideal candidate is a true team player who is able and willing to jump in and help others, as needed. The ideal candidate is proficient in the following job duties, which include, but are not limited to: preparing and serving a variety of litigation related documents, such as answers, discovery demands and responses, motions, etc.; e-filing in NY State, Federal and Appellate Courts; drafting and/or reviewing/revising correspondence, reports, etc.; communicating with adversaries and courts as needed; transcribing attorney dictations; and light calendaring as needed. Knowledge of preparing Tables of Authorities through MS Word is ideal. Proficiency with MS Word is a must. Knowledge of ProLaw is helpful. Competitive salary/excellent benefits.
