Job Summary:
Small firm seeking full or part time secretary/receptionist. Responsibilities include document preparation, organizing files, answering telephone and greeting clients in a comfortable working environment. Salary flexible with experience.
Duties:
- Assist in preparing legal documents including pleadings, estate planning documents, deeds, etc.
- Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments, court deadlines, and meetings
- Organize and maintain legal files
- Handle data entry and maintain databases
- Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and court personnel
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, copying, and filing documents
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle high-volume data entry accurately
- Proficiency in word processing software (Microsoft Word and WordPerfect)
