As a Consumer Lending Support Specialist, the road to success is built on strong relationships with dealers, members, and the internal lending team. The Consumer Lending Support Specialist ensures the accurate and efficient processing of vehicle titles and UCCs by verifying title information is correct, maintaining knowledge of current laws regarding vehicle titles/UCCs, and interacting with customers and regulatory agencies to resolve title/UCC issues while supporting our indirect department with processing and approving auto loans.

You’ll be:

Providing quality service to members, potential members, coworkers, and dealers, including prompt and professional responses and follow-ups while:

• Maintaining an accurate and comprehensive filing system for titles/UCCs and ensuring necessary and complete documentation is received.
• Utilizes appropriate regulations, policies, and guidelines to process, submit, and release titles/UCCs for vehicles in a timely manner.
• Run outstanding title/UCC reports, review and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles/UCCs.
• Contributes to the member's experience by answering questions, providing information, and resolving issues as necessary. Escalates issues as appropriate.
• Coordinating with Indirect Lending Processors to verify dealer paperwork is complete, and the loan documents are in accordance with Winsouth Credit Union lending guidelines
• Gathering and verifying financial information of loan applicants and analyzing applicant's financial status to prepare and decision indirect loan files
• Auditing of files to ensure that all loan documentation is accurate and complete and is in compliance with existing regulations, including WinSouth Credit Union loan policies and procedures
• Occasional training on indirect programs, processing procedures, and documents
• Maintaining and updating information in various systems
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

You’ll need:

• Financial industry and/or dealership experience preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to represent the financial institution in a positive and professional way when working with the WinSouth CU dealer network or members.
• Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment
• Knowledge of title management, lending and collection practices
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.24 - $17.15 per hour
