Local Security company has immediate openings for professional security guards serving a customer site located in Shelby, Ohio. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances
• Continuous rounds of site

• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism'
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to complete required logs
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and site supervisor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
