This position is essential for maintaining the institution's safety and security and is considered a Law Enforcement position receiving the 20-year retirement package. Position Overview: As a Correctional Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure and safe environment within our correctional facilities. You will be responsible for the supervision, care, and custody of offenders while fostering an atmosphere of respect, rehabilitation, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine prison security checks and inspections
• Monitoring offender activities and behavior
• Responding promptly to emergencies and incidents
• Enforcing facility rules and regulations
• Facilitating and participating in rehabilitative programs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and stamina required to perform duties
