Lending Officer conducts lending activities for an assigned market or geographic area. Develops a pipeline of customers through referrals, inquiries, and outreach. Being a Lending Officer performs a due diligence review of potential borrowers, including a risk and financial analysis. Structures loan proposals, prepares credit memos, and presents to loan committee for approval. Additionally, Lending Officer may manage a portfolio of existing loans, including reviewing financial reporting, monitoring compliance with loan terms, and handling loan modifications or workouts. Ensures adherence to regulations, bank credit policies, and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Lending Officer work is closely managed. Correctional Officers are an entry level peace officer position.

    Minimum Qualifications
    AGE
    At least 20 YEARS of age at the time of application and 21 YEARS of age at the time of appointment to the Academy.

    EDUCATION
    Graduation from a U.S. high school, G.E.D. or equivalent from a U.S. accredited institution, or a California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) certificate is required, or possession of a college degree (Associate of Arts or higher) from an accredited U.S. college or university.

    CITIZENSHIP
    United States citizenship or a permanent resident who is eligible for and has applied for citizenship at the time of application.

    BACKGROUND
    As a minimum requirement, a thorough background investigation must be conducted prior to a candidate’s appointment or training as a Correctional Peace Officer. Additionally, must have no felony convictions and eligible to own/possess a firearm.
