    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing MSR/Loan Officer to join our team. As a MSR/Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting members in securing loans for various purposes. This position also includes basic banking/teller tasks throughout the day.

    Duties:

    • Assist members with financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, ensuring a high level of service and accuracy.
    • Process loan applications, from initial intake and document collection to preliminary credit analysis and application assessment.
    • Advise members on financial products and services, focusing on those that meet their needs, including details on various types of loans and account options.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations for both banking transactions and loan processing, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
    • Make loan approval decisions within specified limits and prepare documentation for loans exceeding those limits for further approval.
    • Provide financial guidance to members, especially regarding loans and credit-building strategies, to support their financial well-being.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, with experience in addressing customer needs and resolving issues effectively.
    • Cash Handling Experience: Proficient in managing cash transactions accurately and responsibly, with previous experience in a cash handling role.
    • Basic Financial Knowledge: Understanding of basic financial concepts, products, and services, including loans, savings, and checking accounts.
    • Attention to Detail: Ability to process transactions and applications accurately, ensuring all details are correct to maintain compliance and prevent errors.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining financial products, processing transactions, and advising members on financial matters.
    • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of identifying and resolving issues, offering solutions to members' financial inquiries, and navigating complex transactions or applications.
