We are seeking a Sales Account Manager (TX/OK/LA) to drive new business and support existing customer relationships within the territory's library community.

    Territory is Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, and candidates must live in territory. Travel is required. Base salary is $90-100K plus bonus.

    The Sales Account Manager is self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for sales. The AM will

    Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive new business and maintain current renewals across territory
    Own full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, and to meet or exceed quarterly sales goals
    Identify new business opportunities and proactively pursue potential customers
    Schedule meeting with libraries “in-person” and present the product to faculty, staff and administration at universities and colleges within the region
    Provide accurate and timely forecasting and reporting of sales activity
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development to ensure customer needs are being met



    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree
    2-6 years of successful field sales experience, ideally in Library or Publishing
    Experience in strategic selling is an advantage
    Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
    A demonstrated passion for science and education, college level coursework in the sciences preferred
