Library Services Coordinator oversees library service offerings designed to meet the needs of a specific user population. Ensures resource availability and implements new programs to meet service gaps. Being a Library Services Coordinator assists groups and individuals in locating, delivery, and obtaining materials. Establish and maintains cooperative agreements between the college and area libraries. Additionally, Library Services Coordinator graduates from an ALA-accredited school. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Library Services Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Performs intermediate administrative support work at the circulation desk, cataloging materials, preparing materials for circulation and providing assistance to library patrons, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the division head or branch manager.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED with coursework in business, or related field and one (1) to two (2) years’ experience working in an administrative support position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Comments:
This is a part-time position (19 hours a week).
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 4pm - 8pm
Friday 2pm - 6pm
Alternating Wednesday and Saturday
Wednesday 10am - 2pm or 4pm - 8pm Saturday 9am - 1pm
