This position is located at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, CA. Candidates selected for this position will serve as a LIBRARY TECHNICIAN NF2 for MCCS.

Incumbent assists in a variety of technical and specialized clerical tasks, to support library work such as, acquiring, processing, distributing and disposing of library materials and maintaining patron registrar files. Compiles daily and monthly statistics, and submit reports for monies collected.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage to library materials and/or show films. May train and provide technical guidance to other library employees. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
A minimum of one year of experience in responsible library support services. Ability to operate office equipment such as: typewriter, calculator, microcomputer, and copier.This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. Must be able to obtain and maintain TIER-1 Child Care (CNACI) background checks which are required for positions that involve working with children under 18 years of age.
