The ideal candidate should possess a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other human service field. Licensure in the Sate of Illinois is required. A minimum of three years of supervisory and program development experience is required. Abilities include: strong computer skills and proficiency within a Windows-based environment, handling of numerous projects simultaneously, good interpersonal skills, and knowledge of Medicaid and Managed Care Organizations. Must be knowledgeable of contractual requirement, rules, and regulations for all appropriate programs and funders.
Responsibilities include: assuming the duties and responsibilities necessary for the coordination of effective services to the consumers of the Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA), Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), and Geriatric Service programs; provision of professional education and training for consumers, families, and professional staff within the service system; and provision of specialized clinical consultation and direct service to older adults with more complex treatment needs for the Gero-Psychiatric Program of Heartland Human Services.
