    The City is looking for an experienced leader with excellent interpersonal and management skills to plan, organize, coordinate, direct the operations and activities of the Library Division, and provide professional and technical assistance to the public. The Deputy Director will serve as staff to the Library Board of Trustees, the Napa Valley Wine Library Board, and the Friends & Foundation SHPL Board.
     
    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the library field, think strategically, make sound decisions, coordinate long-range planning, and successfully deliver services to the community. The best candidate will promote staff development, foster a team environment through collaboration and respectful management, and support the City Council Goals.
