Licensed Clinical Social Worker jobs in Nevada
Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides clinical social work services to patients and their families. Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems. Being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker coaches patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provides therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. Requires a master's degree in social work. Additionally, Licensed Clinical Social Worker requires Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Requires the applicable State License to Practice Clinical Social Work. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Licensed Clinical Social Worker's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

The Crisis Response Team is a partnership that responds to 911 psychiatric emergency calls in Las Vegas with a fully staffed Advanced Life Support ambulance and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The role of the LCSW is to assess the patient collaboratively with other EMS on the scene to determine whether the patient meets legal hold (L2K) criteria and which destination/resource most appropriately addresses the patient’s needs.
Requirements:
Must have a unrestricted Nevada license as Clinical Social Worker or Independent Social Worker
Must be CPR and BLS certified
This position is fulltime, must be flexible to work 12-hour shifts day/evening/overnight
$44 an hour
