• Pay Range Clinical (LCSW, CMHC, LMFT): $33.39-$51.52 Exempt
• Benefits Eligible: Yes
• FTE: Full-time
• Shift: 40hrs/wk.
• This role will support pediatric Mental Health Integration (MHI) within the Central Market of the IMG-Canyons, focusing primarily on Alta View Pediatrics and Southridge Pediatrics.

Job Essentials

• Assesses the patient's medical history, mental health history, and current presentation to understand the patient's needs from treatment.
• Diagnoses and treats various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Develops a plan of care either individually or with input from the patient, patient family/significant others, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provides treatment based on patient need and evidenced based interventions.
• Refers patients to other services to improve their well-being. These referrals may include community services, treatment programs, support groups, and/or psychiatrists (or other mental health providers).
• Properly document pertinent information regarding the patient's plan of care.
• Works with the multi-disciplinary team to develop a discharge plan to provide further care, services, and referrals to ensure continuity of care.
• Provides psychological testing as indicated by the patient's condition.
• Complies with federal, state, local and clinical program/facility standards.
• Provides care and treatment within the scope of the Mental Health Practice Act.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in Psychology. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
• Current State Licensure as LCSW, LMFT CMHC or Current Utah license as a psychologist (PhD).
• Psychologist will adhere to all appropriate standards of practice as outlined by the American Psychological Association, State Licensing Board, and Intermountain Healthcare.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a behavioral health outpatient setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Ongoing need for employee to see and assess various nonverbal cues used in patient diagnosis/assessment in order to understand and develop treatment options.
• Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, as well as hear and respond quickly to emergent needs or issues that may arise with patients.
