Licensed Practical Nurse administers nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Pay: Salary for this position starts at $23.00 per hour, and increases based on experience and education, plus shift differentials.
Weekday Differentials of $3.00 for evening and overnight
Weekend Differentials of $5.00 for evening and overnight
Schedule: Pro re nata, PRN. Work as needed.
Education: One year certificate from an accredited college or technical school
Licensure/Certification: Valid driver's license and auto insurance. Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of
Kansas.
Experience: Three to six months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills: Requires Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook email.
