Licensing Clerk assists in maintaining records, compiling information, and submitting forms necessary for agent licensing. Performs routine clerical duties, such as filing forms and other records from licensed agents and applicants according to an established system. Auto Licensing of Bellingham is hiring a vehicle licensing clerk. We operate two auto licensing businesses, one in Ferndale at 1740 Labounty Dr, the other 1738 Iowa St in Bellingham. The main location where the applicant will work is in Bellingham, but training and shifts may need to be completed at the Ferndale office as need arises.
About the Job:
Vehicle Licensing title clerks process vehicle and vessel title transactions, tab renewals, address changes, disabled parking, tonnage and gross weight, ownership in doubt, etc. and are required to memorize extensive knowledge regarding Washington State's laws in regards to vehicle licensing.
The position will be primarily full time, but we may consider part time if the right candidate applies. We may be hiring two applicants, one part time and one full time.
Applicants will have a background check run if they are offered employment that is contingent upon the results.
Requirements:
- H.S. Education (Degree preferred)
- Highly capable memorization skills
- Excellent data entry/computer skills
- At least 50 WPM
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to multi-task
- Requires complex problem solving
- Ability to take correction and instructions, there is a strong learning curve

- Sick time accrual up to 40 hours a year, any unused carry over is paid out in full annually
