Life Underwriting Director directs and oversees the life insurance underwriting program for individuals and/or groups. Responsible for ensuring integrity of underwriting activities and processes. Being a Life Underwriting Director provides coaching to underwriters and assists on more complex applications. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Additionally, Life Underwriting Director typically requires Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) certification or Fellow Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation. Typically reports to top management. The Life Underwriting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Life Underwriting Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Family and Community Support (FCS) Provider

  • Overview:

    • To support clients in learning and applying appropriate ways to manage behavior.
    • Assist clients in regaining self-control to restore mental health functioning.
    • Teach resilience, and enhance the quality of life by appropriate clinical service delivery and identification.
    • Please be prepared to supply a simple cover letter and references upon scheduled interview.
    • Those who no-show their interview will be flagged and unable to interview for Life Connections positions in the future.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a minimum of 10 billable hours per week for part-time status.
    • Provide services targeted at helping clients reach the goals listed on client’s ICP.
    • Attend monthly staff meetings.
    • Attend quarterly training, 24 hours of training within the first year of employment 12 hours in subsequent years of employment.
    • Attend annual ICP meetings for all clients.
    • Complete waiver safety plans for all clients.
    • Communicate professionally with employees, clients, and the general public.
    • Ensure documentation requirements are met for FCS services in a timely manner.
    • Maintain professional ethics and behaviors.
    • Maintain HIPAA and all other necessary confidentiality standards set by Life Connections.
    • 100% of all units are expected to be utilized by the end of the client’s authorization date.
    • Ability to travel and take cases within 40 miles of the employee’s home or assigned office.
    • Attends monthly clinical supervision with clinical supervisor, scheduling quarterly supervision.
    • Ensures appointment consistency by sharing cases with colleagues.
    • All other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
    • Must provide 30 days notice when submitting resignation, and assist in case transfer.
    • $13-$20 per hour based on experience.

    Requirements:

    • Solid background and experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
    • Knowledge of FCS service delivery practices and regulations (will attain within 45 days if no prior experience).
    • Ability to multi-task and work in an organized manner (time management, schedule management. KASA efficiency, hour productivity).
    • Computer competency (clear understanding of all available Kasa functions; to the extent of being able to train a new employee).
    • Leadership Functionality: Team oriented, shows ability to model and demonstrate skills delivered to clients, shows patience and understanding for clients and employees alike, demonstrates ability to follow appropriate boundary guidelines, able to conduct themselves in such a manner that their activities, both personal and official, will not discredit Life Connections.
    • Strong sense of ethics and professionalism.
    • Consistently sees clients on a clinical level and implements curriculum and appropriate interventions.
    • The service provider will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

    Job Benefits:
