Light Assembler assembles fabricated parts of small or light subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Light Assembler identifies and sorts units that fail quality standards. May disassemble units to repair or refit parts as necessary. Additionally, Light Assembler operates hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Light Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes, which includes the Church of the Incarnation and St. Francis campuses, is seeking a database administrator. This is a full-time position. Those interested in this position will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Our Lady of Light Family parishioner database (currently eCatholic / Gabriel) and online calendar (currently CalendarWiz). The job requires a wide range of skills and abilities in database and calendar administration, reporting, and data analysis. Other responsibilities include coordinating the department’s donor services processes (receiving, data entry, thanking and receipting all donations) and training back-office staff.
