Being a Light Assembler identifies and sorts units that fail quality standards. May disassemble units to repair or refit parts as necessary. Additionally, Light Assembler operates hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Light Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The role reports to the Production Planning Supervisor and is located in Warminster, Pennsylvania. As a Flow Assembler, you will be performing various repetitive and special bench or line assembly operations utilizing a variety of machines and equipment.
Calibrates instruments to customer's specifications and makes necessary set-ups for testing instruments. Reviews parts requirements, inventory status, secures a variety of company parts and materials.
Your responsibilities
Receives, stores, issues, cycle counts and back flushes material while required utilizing proper inventory control procedures.
Initiates and receives Kanban items
