The Farmer’s Table is hiring several experienced, dedicated, professional cooks. Our ideal candidate is cool and comfortable working a busy rush, capable of producing intricate high-value prep recipes, and easily communicates clearly and respectfully with all members of the team.

Essential experience includes:

- Basic knife skills

- Prep work, stocking and setting the line for successful service

- Executing menu consistently to exact specifications

- Stamina and durability through busy shifts

- Attention to detail in both cooking and cleaning

Our menu changes frequently to showcase the wide variety of local ingredients available to us.

Creativity is encouraged and each person on our kitchen staff has the opportunity to contribute to the menu development process. We place a high value on re-interpreting traditional, classic Midwest comfort food favorites through a modern, healthful sensibility. Our beef is processed locally from Medina/Lorain County cattle and the majority of our produce is sourced within 200 miles of our location. We are passionate and engaged with the entire food supply chain - from the farmers who grow our food to the distributors who bring it to our door.

We are committed to working in a safe, clean kitchen. Our employees complete a Self Health Evaluation before each shift to ensure that they are free of symptoms of illness and we diligently complete an Enhanced Cleaning Checklist each day that includes frequent sanitization of high-touch surfaces and our entire staff pauses every 30 minutes to wash hands. We expect all employees to follow these policies and hold themselves to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation without exception.
