Line Cook prepares menu dishes following established recipes and using designated ingredients that meet production and quality standards as part of a cooking line. Follows all portion and presentation specifications and proper preparation methods. Being a Line Cook sets up and stocks workstation with all necessary supplies. Coordinates with other line cooks to ensure meals are delivered consistently and on time. Additionally, Line Cook is responsible for operating and maintaining a single workstation. May prepare sauces or garnishes. Follows all applicable guidelines and regulations for food handling and safety. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a sous chef or executive chef. The Line Cook works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Our beef is processed locally from Medina/Lorain County cattle and the majority of our produce is sourced within 200 miles of our location. We are passionate and engaged with the entire food supply chain - from the farmers who grow our food to the distributors who bring it to our door.

Our employees complete a Self Health Evaluation before each shift to ensure that they are free of symptoms of illness and we diligently complete an Enhanced Cleaning Checklist each day that includes frequent sanitization of high-touch surfaces and our entire staff pauses every 30 minutes to wash hands. We expect all employees to follow these policies and hold themselves to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation without exception.
