Position Summary: Distribution Lineman

Distribution Lineman with strong Underground experience to oversee new construction, planned maintenance, and emergency restoration in Urban and Rural areas.

What Do You Offer Us?

• Strong understanding of Testing, Phasing, Bonding, and Grounding Practices.
• Experience in operating Boom Trucks, Bucket Trucks, Pulling, Excavating & Trenching Equipment.
• Understanding of Locating, Potholing, Excavation, and Backfilling practices.
• Experience with Underground and Overhead Primary & Secondary cable installation.
• Splice, Pothead, & Load Break cable termination experience including Cold Shrink and Heat Shrink applications.
• Working knowledge of Pad Mounted & Pole Mounted Transformers, and Meter Loops.
• Working knowledge of Pad Mounted Switchgears including Fault Indicators, and Fuses.
• Willingness to glove/work energized medium voltage distribution lines
• Capable of working at heights and/or in confined spaces

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
• Compensation Range: $41/hr to $50/hr based on experience.

What is Required?

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL
• DOT Medical Card
• Pass Pre-Employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to travel on short notice
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching
• High school diploma or equivalent
