Job Summary:
The D365 System Administrator II is responsible for efficiently managing incoming requests from various departments through a help desk system, with a primary focus on Dynamics D365 F&O. This role serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, Dynamics resources, and external consultants to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues. The individual in this position is expected to handle level 1 support tickets, applying their expertise to make necessary changes within Dynamics D365, such as managing permissions, resolving access issues, and addressing other technical challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming requests from stakeholders through a help desk system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Act as a bridge between internal teams, Dynamics D365 resources, and external consultants to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Regularly update stakeholders on the status of requests and projects.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system specifications for Dynamics D365 F&O.
- Address level 1 tickets by making necessary changes within Dynamics D365 F&O, including permissions, access issues, and other operational tasks
- Manage code deployment across multiple instances of Dynamics D365 F&O with external suppliers
- Work closely with IT, developers, and end-users to ensure technical solutions meet business needs
- Plan and execute tasks to meet deadlines, adapting as needed to changing priorities.
- Create user documentation and provide training on new system features.
- Keep up with industry trends and technical developments to improve system functionality.
- Perform other systems administrator related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3-6 years of experience in system administration or a similar role
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 F&O system administration
- Basic knowledge of Azure services and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including PowerBI
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with technical support
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with various stakeholders and external consultants
Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $98,000 to $125,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
