Litigation Docket Clerk jobs in Charlotte, NC

Law Firm Carolinas is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal for its Charlotte office. This position will assist attorneys in the firm’s community association litigation and bankruptcy practices with client intake, drafting court documents, pleadings, and various correspondence, organizing files, coordinating calendars, managing the file opening and closing process, performing searches, and interacting with clients and third parties. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

This position is full-time in the office. Starting salary commensurate with experience. We offer full benefits and performance based bonuses.

Ideal candidates possess the following:
• At least 2 or more years of litigation experience
• Manage calendar and scheduling
• Assist with creating, editing, revising, and finalizing legal documents
• File documents/emails in the document management system (PracticeMaster)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must possess analytical and research skills
• A self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Responsive and proactive in fast-paced environment
• Courteous and professional demeanor
• Able to work as part of a team
• Strong discretion with an understanding of the importance of confidential information
• Community Association (HOA) experience a plus
