Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have an outstanding work ethic, positive attitude, extremely reliable with a willingness to learn a set of skills that will build a lifelong career
• Note: Pay range based on level of experience

Primary Function of Work:

• Cut, shapes, and assembles cabinets - we are looking for a seasoned cabinet maker at this time, someone with prior experience
• Produces or assembles components of cabinets
• Verifies dimensions and checks the quality or fit of pieces to ensure specifications are met.
• Sets up or operates machines, including power saws, jointer, shapers to cut, mold, or shape Woodstock or wood products.
• Measures and marks dimensions of parts prior to cutting to ensure a tight fit and quality product
• Reinforces joints with fasteners to prepare cabinets for finishing.
• Use shop drawings to shape or assemble parts
• Cuts wood to right size and shape and trims parts of joints to ensure a snug fit, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
• Matches materials for color, grain or texture
• Trims, sands, or scrapes surfaces or joints to prepare cabinets for finishing.
