    Job Description
    Under the direction of a Supervising Appeals Examiner in the Appeal Tribunal, hears and decides disputed complex
    unemployment and temporary disability benefits claims; conducts quasi-judicial hearings to determine eligibility for
    unemployment and temporary disability benefits claims based on testimony and evidence presented, and in accordance with
    applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures; prepares written decisions in accordance with established guidelines;
    and other related job duties as necessary.

    EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.

    EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of professional experience making determinations on eligibility in various phases of temporary wage
    replacement insurance in a public or private agency.

    NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated above on a year-for-year basis.

    NOTE: Admission to practice as an Attorney at Law in New Jersey, or graduation from an accredited college or university with a J.D. or
    L.L.H. degree may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience.
