    SUMMARY

    The Loan Specialist will provide direct-to-consumer auto finance and refinance options while delivering superior customer service, responding to inquiries, and requesting information. The Loan Specialist will also offer additional finance and insurance options.

    This position is a base salary plus uncapped commission. At this time  . . . An average LS earns $75K and top 20% are earning $145K per year.  

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:

    • Understand and demonstrate the principles of The Savings Group Mission, Vision, and Values.
    • Ensures consistent delivery of The Savings Group product offerings.
    • Effectively manage and maintain an organized pipeline.
    • Enter all account, contact, opportunity, and activity information in LOS daily.
    • Work within our lending partners' guidelines.
    • Manage expectations and overcome objections with a consultative sales approach.
    • Develop best practices in auto refinance consumer lending.
    • Notify consumers regarding a loan to refinance status and approvals to close the sale.
    • Provide excellent customer service.
    • Additional duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Education: High school diploma, or equivalent required. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Experience: Experience in inside phone sales preferred. Telemarketing or customer service experience in a call center environment and/or with auto finance companies, car dealerships, and investment companies a plus.
    • Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Ability to speak read and write fluent English. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on communication of channel operations. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and objectively coach associates and management through complex issues. Excellent presentation skills.
    • Math Skills: Basic computation skills
    • Analytical: Detail-oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently. Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.
    • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Technical: Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams, with intermediate Excel ability. Ability to navigate multiple systems and platforms. Experience with CRMs preferred. 
    • Other: High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment.

    COMPENSATION

    This position pays $36,000/year salary plus uncapped commission
