Loan Officer

ONE Credit Union is actively searching for a loan officer. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. Direct interaction with members on the loan process. Underwrites loans in accordance with policy and regulations. Works as a member of our credit union team.

Responsibilities:

• Interacts with members to complete the application process, ensure all necessary supporting loan documentation is obtained and accurate.
• Initiating and answering calls to and from members as required in a prompt, courteous, accurate service and professional manner.
• Inputs loan data into processing system.
• Underwrites and approves or declines all consumer loans and Visa Credit Cards in accordance with written policy while conforming to regulatory standards. Perfects liens, ensures adequate insurance is in place.
• Personally interviews members during application process explaining rates, terms.
• Perfects closing documents and signatures are obtained.
• Assists members on account details.
• Cross-sells loans and ONE Credit Union products and services.
• Assists VP of Lending with Mortgages and Home Equity’s.
• Assists team members as needed.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma.
• Two year’s work experience in banking, with focus in lending.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Knowledge of ONE Credit Unions products and services.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

38 to 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday

Benefit Conditions:

$500.00 Sign on Bonus after successfully completing 6 months introductory period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
