We're hiring a Loan Operations Specialist II to join our Souderton based Loan Operations Team.
Responsible to interpret and translate complex loan documents to the JH operation system, including CIF input, AFT setup, FASB 91 fee and cost records, and input manually and via software
Perform file maintenance necessary to record loan extensions and modifications, including interest accruals and billing calculations
Resolve documentation issues with lenders, CBA’s or administrative assistants
Respond to telephone requests for commercial, consumer and mortgage loan information for internal and external customers through the telephone hunt group
Perform other routine department tasks such as payoff statements, correspondence, insurance, reports and filing servicing related documents
Oversee workflow of input, scanning, and filing loan documents, including meeting month end deadlines for input of critical loan documents
Responsible for tracking, scanning, and verification of documents to the Synergy Imaging System
Verification of Jack Henry loan input to file documents including CIF, loan master record, AFT, FASB costs and fees
Learn, perform and support all daily loan settlements and remittances
Coordinate storage and tracking of active loan files and removal of closed files from the loan vault.
Process telephone and E-mail requests to provide documents and files
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Performs additional duties as required
HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 3 years or more experience
Excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills
Advanced understanding of mortgage, commercial, consumer loans
General understanding of bank accounting practices, GL reconciliation and loan accounting computations including interest accruals, payment amortizations, billing calculations
Ability to read and comprehend complex loan contracts and translate into appropriate computer system coding
Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize and enter data quickly and accurately to meet deadlines, including end of month activity
Advanced PC, Word, Excel skills
Ability to operate conventional office equipment including copy machine, fax machine, adding machine, personal computer and telephone
