    Who YOU are:  

    • Perform daily work on the Real Estate/Member Business Lending servicing desk; ensures that all responsibilities of the desk are handled in a timely manner according to SFCU, investors, state and federal policies and regulations.
    •  Servicing functions including but not limited to daily loan payments and payoff processing, impound account activities, investor requirements, customer service.

    What YOU’LL do:

    • Respond to the day-to-day member loan servicing needs via multiple communication channels, including verification and acceptance of payments, printing and mailing requested statements, processing payoff demands, reconveyances, and other required documents. 
    • Impound accounts (escrow account setup, initial and annual analysis)
    • Update, track, and monitor all taxes, impound accounts and advancing payment if delinquent. Pay all impound property taxes and insurance(s) to proper agencies.
    • Verifies accuracy of investor accounts and performs monthly reconciliations of related accounts, assist with loan sales.
    • Develops accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of investor reports and required investor remittances, including FNMA.
    • MERS registration of new funded Real Estate loans
    • PMI disbursements, notification, and cancelation requirements
    • ARM interest rate charges are processed in compliance with the term of the Notes and federal and local laws.
    • Audit new RE and CML loans for accuracy, verifies that adequate insurance coverage exists for all new funded loans in investor and credit union portfolio. 
    • Maintains real estate, and member business lending loan reports, documents and any other files required before and after processing.
    • Interfaces with various credit union departments.
    • Serves as one of the core system testers for the department to ensure timely testing of new software releases.
    •  Cross train with other loan service staff.
